Luinga Beag is a newly completed (2026) luxury one-bedroom cabin in the Scottish West Highlands, thoughtfully designed with a focus on comfort, quality, and timeless style. Finished with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, it offers a warm and inviting space in every season.

The cabin is accessed via a practical porch with storage for boots and coats, leading into an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area designed to maximise beautiful sea views. Large sliding doors open onto private decking with an outdoor stone bath, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor living experience.

The compact, well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and everything needed for a relaxed self-catering stay. A dining table provides a comfortable space for meals or planning the day ahead.

The living area is ideal for cosy evenings, featuring a comfortable sofa, Smart TV, and a wood-burning stove. The cabin also offers a peaceful bedroom with a super king four-poster bed and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks.

Luinga Beag offers a calm, refined retreat — combining modern comfort, sea views, and understated luxury in the West Highlands.

In here you can expect to find an insider’s guide to the area’s must-see attractions, restaurants, local pubs and activities, as well as learn a little more about the property and owner’s story.

The house book will be available in digital format on receiving your booking confirmation, also featuring instructions on how to use the appliances along with useful contact numbers and information on what to do in an emergency, to ensure that you can enjoy a blissful stay.

We are committed to running Luinga Beag in a thoughtful and responsible way. This includes using eco-friendly cleaning products, recycling where possible, and incorporating air source heating alongside a well-insulated build to reduce energy consumption.

We also make a conscious effort to use products that are not tested on animals, as we do not support animal testing and believe in making more considered, ethical choices.

Where possible, we source materials such as firewood locally, supporting nearby businesses and reducing unnecessary transport.

To help maintain the comfort and quality of Luinga Beag for all guests, we kindly ask that you follow a few simple guidelines during your stay:

• Dogs are very welcome. They may be left unattended for short periods if they are comfortable in the space and unlikely to cause damage. Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning required.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property

• The cabin is intended for registered guests only; overnight visitors are not permitted

• If you are expecting day visitors, please let us know in advance

• Bath towels are provided for indoor use and should not be taken to the beach

• BBQs are not permitted on the decking 

• To help avoid blockages, please do not dispose of food waste, fats, oils, or hygiene products in toilets, sinks, or drains

• We kindly ask that furniture is not moved or rearranged inside or on the decking

• Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, as you found it

Luinga Beag was designed to be a place to truly slow down. One of our favourite moments is waking up in the super king four-poster bed and opening the electric blinds to reveal the sea and islands beyond — without even leaving the comfort of the bed.

The outdoor stone bath is another highlight, offering a quiet space to unwind while taking in the changing light, sea views, and open sky. It is especially special in the evening, when everything feels calm and still.

We also love the feeling of the space itself — warm underfoot with underfloor heating, cosy with the wood-burning stove, and filled with natural light throughout the day.

Being on a working croft makes it unique. Depending on the time of year, you may see cows in the fields or free-roaming chickens, adding to the sense of place and making each stay feel a little different.

It is a simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed space — and one we hope guests will enjoy as much as we do.
